  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions
  1. In a small saucepan heat the milk with the tea bag over medium-low and warm through for several minutes. Remove tea bag.
  2. Add oats and vanilla and cook until most of the liquid is absorbed. Add apple and warm through.
  3. Serve in a small bowl and top with almonds.
Recipe Notes

For a little extra protein, you can use a filtered milk (like Fairlife). You can use a chai inspired caffeine-free herbal tea (like Celestial Seasonings Bengal Spice blend).
